Booked

Florida, here we come! It's booked - 4 nights, five days at a resort on St. Pete Beach in July. I am once again more excited about this summer's vacation than anyone else in this family. It will be the first time the kids and I will get to see the ocean. I. can't. wait.

Bret and the kids just took off to see the new Indiana Jones movie, which gives me some time by myself to throw on the iPod and clean up the house. Tonight we're taking our kids and our niece and nephew and a couple of Ashley's friends to the Peoria Pirates (football) game. Bret scored some free tickets since he works for the City of Peoria. Two adults and 6 kids. Hmm, are we crazy?

Close Call

I'm not even a Giants fan, but man was this game a close one. I felt so bad for Tynes after he missed that second field goal and found myself holding my breath when he went for the third one to win to game.

Mathematically Challenged

Ryan never ceases to make me laugh. Tonight when I was putting him to bed, he went on a tangent about what he wants Santa to bring him for Christmas this year. He said that he's "been wanting a Chicago Bear's football helmet just like the one (his friend) Aizik has for a long, long, long, long, super long time now. Ever since I was six years old!" He's seven right now. I'm still laughing.

Update: Wow. How very sad and disappointing. The bears didn't deserve to win with the way they played. Quite a big let down after the way they played during the first quarter.
